Glades Alumnae Chapter President

Greetings,

I am Duana Daniels, the newly elected President of the Glades Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, located in Belle Glade, Florida. I was initiated into the Glades Alumnae Chapter in the Spring of 2006 and would like to thank my local Chapter for the trust you have placed in me by electing me to the position of President. I appreciate your support immensely and regard it as an encouragement to continue the work to impact our community
positively. I pledge always to serve the Glades Alumnae Chapter, our community, and surrounding service areas. Furthermore, I will serve in the spirit of fidelity and commitment to the common good, always in accordance with the purpose and principles of our illustrious Sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. My long-term goal for Glades Alumnae is to create a pathway for new Sorors to embrace their desires and successfully occupy various
leadership positions within our organization, locally, regionally, and nationally, to sustain the longevity of our illustrious Sisterhood.
 

To my immediate past President, Dr. JoAnn Finney, and the immediate past Officers, thank you for your untiring dedication to our Chapter and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I wish each of you well as you continue the work in your new roles within our organization.
 

As we continue to honor and strengthen our organization, families, and neighboring communities, I look forward to working diligently with our stakeholders and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated members as we make an impact in our community and for our community. It will take each of us working as a team, doing what we can to make each of us
stronger. Sorors, as this new journey for the 2023-2025 sororal year begins, let us remember that Sisterhood is more than a word. It is an action. Delta is more than an organization. It is our brand, and Glades Alumnae is more than our Chapter. It is our legacy. To our Glades community
and surrounding service areas, the women of the Glades Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated look forward to continuing our work as we make a difference together.
